Just a day after releasing a new image, the first official Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire poster has made its way online, teasing a new creature as the new king.
Like yesterday’s image, the poster comes from the Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Instagram, which shared a poster of a red handprint with the new creature’s face in it. The caption for the photo features the hashtag “#Skarking,” potentially hinting at the new kaiju’s name.

What do we know about Godzilla x Kong?
“This latest entry follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence — and our own,” reads the movie’s synopsis. “The epic new film will delve further into the histories of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond, while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.”
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is the sequel to 2021’s Godzilla vs. Kong, which had the two titans clash with one another. It will be the latest movie in the MonsterVerse and is produced by Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, Eric McLeod, Brian Rogers, Thomas Tull, and Jon Jashni.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is slated to premiere on April 12, 2024.
