During the episode, the housemates encountered significant repercussions due to the unhygienic conditions within the Bigg Boss house. For those unaware, in this season, the house has been divided into three distinct areas or “makaans” (houses) – Dil (heart), Dimag (mind), and Dum (soul).
Bigg Boss convened all the housemates in the lounge, directing specific questions to contestants, including Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain. He asked about the disparity between their initial image upon entering the house and their current personas as participants.
Following this, Bigg Boss showed the housemates of a video presentation illustrating the systematic organization and cleanliness within the house at the beginning of the season. However, the footage starkly contrasted with the current state of disarray and untidiness that has unfolded since the contestants first entered the house.
The house administration issued an ultimatum, granting all residents a strict one-hour window to thoroughly clean the entire house. A scheduled inspection team would enter and assess the cleanliness after this period. If there were any discrepancies, the authorized officers could remove any items or belongings not maintained appropriately. Moreover, the items would be returned to the contestant after the end of their journey.
To oversee this ‘Safaai Abhiyan,’ the organizers appointed Sana Raees Khan as the leader. However, despite this, when the inspection team arrived, the actions of the housemates led to significant consequences for the entire group.
Bigg Boss 17: What consequences do the housemates suffer?
After the prescribed hour had elapsed, the inspection team entered the Bigg Boss house and initiated the collection of misplaced belongings. Clothes, fruits, and various other items were systematically placed on a large trolley brought in for this purpose. However, amidst this process, some housemates, including Firoza Khan (Khanzaadi), Sunny Arya (Tehelka Bhai), and Arun Mashettey, attempted to discreetly retrieve their items directly from the trolley where the inspection officers were organizing the collected possessions.
Throughout this process, fellow housemates voiced their opposition to Firoza Khan (Khanzaadi), Sunny Arya (Tehelka Bhai), and Arun Mashettey’s actions. Despite objections from their peers, the trio persisted in their attempts to reclaim their items. However, when the team concluded their task and exited the house, Bigg Boss highlighted the actions of the three individuals. Rather than admonishing them directly, he sarcastically applauded their efforts for attempting to retrieve the items.
In response to the actions of Firoza Khan, Bigg Boss implemented consequences. The allocated time for kitchen usage was notably reduced, now standing at a mere 4.5 hours. Furthermore, a new directive stated that all fruits were to relocate to the storeroom. Firoza Khan’s involvement in pilfering fruit items directly from the trolley during the earlier proceedings prompted Bigg Boss to make this decision.
