Billboard has recently released its highly awaited year-end charts for 2023. K-pop fans will be glad to know that many of their favorite idols have been ruling over the Billboard charts this year. From several BTS members to other popular K-pop groups like NewJeans or Stray Kids, many have landed on several significant charts of Billboard 2023.
Without further ado, here are some of the K-pop artists who have been dominating the Billboard Year-End Chart for 2023.
BTS
The individual members of BTS as well as the group as a whole have been ruling 2023’s Billboard charts. BTS’ Jungkook has made it at No. 82 on the year-end HOT 100 songs chart and No. 17 on the Global 200 songs list with his track “Seven” ft. Latto. Another member of the group is Jimin, whose debut album, FACE, has landed at No. 193 on the 200 Albums list.
On the list of TOP Album Sales, BTS’ Agust D, aka Suga (No. 22), RM (No. 32), V (No. 44) and J-Hope (No. 66) have taken place with their respective albums D-DAY, Indigo, Layover, and Jack In The Box. Moreover, BTS as a group has made it on the Global Excl. U.S. Chart at No.168 with their song, “Dynamite”. BTS’ “Take Two” has also taken the No. 62 spot on Billboard’s Digital Song Sales Chart.
NewJeans
The popular K-pop girl group NewJeans has also been making waves throughout 2023’s year-end Billboard charts. Their album Get Up has landed at No. 134 on the 200 Albums chart. It has also taken place at No. 12 on the list of TOP Album Sales and World Albums at No. 4.
They have made their place on the Top Artists list at No. 86 as well. Aside from that, NewJeans has made several entries on the Global 200 Songs chart with their tracks “OMG” (No. 41), “Ditto” (No. 52), “Super Shy” (No. 117), “Hype Boy” (No. 147), and “ETA” (No. 197).
Stray Kids
Stray Kids is yet another K-pop boy group that has taken the music industry by storm with their hit songs. Their album ★★★★★ (5-STAR) has earned the No. 82 spot on the Billboard 200 Albums chart. The album has also landed at No. 4 on the list of Top Album Sales and at No. 1 on the World Albums chart for 2023. Another album by Stray Kids, MAXIDENT, has also taken place on the Top Album Sales list at No. 47.
TXT
South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together, popularly known as TXT, has also made their way into several 2023 Billboard year-end charts. Their latest album, The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION, has taken the No. 122 spot on the Billboard 200 Albums list. It has also landed at No. 5 on the chart of Top Album Sales and No. 2 on the World Albums chart.
FIFTY FIFTY
K-pop girl group FIFTY FIFTY has gained immense recognition and popularity in the music industry with their mega-hit track “Cupid.” The song has earned the No. 44 spot on the Billboard HOT 100 Songs chart. It has also taken place on the Global 200 Songs list and the Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 20. Besides, FIFTY FIFTY has made their way into the Top Artists list at No. 75.
