Paramount+ is set to release a new documentary film titled JFK: What Doctors Saw, which will re-examine the assassination of the 35th President of the United States John F. Kennedy. The documentary will be available for streaming on the streaming platform on Wednesday, November 14.
The assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, shocked the entire world, leaving everyone uncertain about what had happened. However, revelations started emerging when the authorities revealed they had taken a person named Lee Harvey Oswald into custody in the case. Even fifty years after President Kennedy’s assassination, debates persist over Oswald’s sole involvement in the President’s killing.
The upcoming documentary will delve into the events that unfolded after President Kennedy was brought into the trauma room of the Parkland Memorial Hospital. The doctors are shown to react to the altered autopsy report.
Authorities instructed doctors to maintain silence regarding President Kennedy’s wounds
JFK and his wife Jacqueline entered their limousine on November 22, 1963, heading to a Dallas luncheon. According to reports, Kennedy, along with his wife Jacqueline, Texas Governor John Connally, and Connally’s wife Nellie, were in the vehicle when shots were fired from the nearby Texas School Book Depository. The motorcade hurried to the Parkland Memorial Hospital, where doctors pronounced John F. Kennedy dead.
As soon as the Secret Service reached the hospital, Ronald Jones, Lawrence Klein, Kenneth Salyer, Peter Loeb, and Goldstrich, all medical residents or students at the time, alongside Assistant Professor of Surgery Robert McClelland and Chief of Medicine Donald Seldin, treated the former President. The documentary features each doctor recounting their experience from 1963.
According to the doctors, there existed an entry wound in the neck and an exit wound. In their report, they provided evidence that there was more than one shooter involved in the assassination. However, the narrative changed soon after Kennedy’s body was released from the Parkland hospital. The doctors in the documentary will share how they were cautioned against disclosing critical information.
After Lee Harvey Oswald’s arrest, the public narrative depicted a single person shooting John F. Kennedy from behind. But, according to the doctors, there was a conspiracy to cover up the truth.
