Den of Thieves 2: Pantera’s release date is expected to arrive by late 2024.
Even though Den of Thieves garnered mixed-to-negative responses from critics, earning a 42% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it made $80.5 million at the global box office against its $30 million. Don of Thieves premiered on January 19, 2018. Less than a month later, it was reported that a sequel was in development, with Christian Gudegast, the screenwriter and director of the first film, returning. Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr., the two main stars of Den of Thieves, are also set to reprise their respective roles.
Filming for the sequel took place between April and July 2023. It was reported in May 2023 that Briarcliff Entertainment had acquired the US distribution rights to Den of Thieves 2: Pantera and was set to release the film in late 2024.
