In October 2002, Susan Polk murdered her husband Dr. Frank “Felix” Polk by stabbing him to death. The body of the deceased was discovered on the next day, October 14, 2002. Furthermore, officials discovered 27 wounds on the victim’s body, out of which 15 were stab wounds. Susan was soon arrested and the court found her guilty of second-degree murder. She received 16 years to life sentence and is currently in the California Institution for Women in Chino, California.
According to the Cinemaholic, she will be eligible for parole in the year 2029. Susan claimed that she killed her husband in self-defense because Felix Polk was physically and sexually abusive.
