After the 2021 blockbuster Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra is putting on his intense soldier look again in his upcoming film, Yodha.
Directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, the film revolves around an airplane hijack where a soldier helps the passengers and fights against the terrorist. Yodha is a joint venture of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Amazon Prime along with Shashank Khaitan’s Mentor Disciple Films as a producer as well.
Dharma Productions revealed the new release date via X (formerly Twitter). They also released two posters of lead Sidharth Malhotra in an intense, bruised up look. Check out the posters for Yodha:
Yodha release date, cast and more
After several postponements, the upcoming action-thriller is ready for release on March 15, 2024. Earlier, the film was to be released in theaters on December 8, 2023, clashing with Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif-starrer Merry Christmas.
Yodha is set to star actresses Disha Patani and Raashi Khanna alongside Sidharth. The character names and roles are yet to revealed. Upon the release of the new posters, Sidharth Malhotra also shared his excitement with a post. He wrote, “Gear up for a touchdown full of action & thrill! Fasten your seatbelts, #Yodha will be landing on 15th March 2024.”
The first poster for Yodha features Sidharth dressed as a commando with camouflage face paint, carrying a rifle. The background shows an airplane, and the poster reads, ‘One Commando. One Hijack. Countless Secrets,’. In the second poster, he wears a white t-shirt and black pants, appearing covered in dust and dried blood. The actor looks intense as he stands inside an aircraft and clenches his fist.
B Praak and Tanishk Bagchi are reportedly composing the music for Yodha. T-Series Music has secured the music rights.
