Twinkling Watermelon will air a new episode on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 8:50 p.m. KST on tvN and Viki. The series follows the story of Eun-Gyeol (Ryeoun), a CODA (child of deaf adult), and his journey of time travel. He travels back to 1995 and meets some high schoolers, eventually meets his parents from the past.
Episode 13 of Twinkling Watermelon will showcase Eun-Gyeol’s efforts in furthering his relationship with Se-Kyung (Seol In-Ah) and getting his parents back together before his time runs out. He tries to clear misunderstandings between his mother, Cheong-Ah (Shin Eun-Soo), and his father, Yi Chan (Choi Hyun-Wook). Meanwhile, the band also progresses to partake in a new challenge.
Ryeoun teases the end of his time travel journey on Twinkling Watermelon episode 13
The upcoming episode of Twinkling Watermelon will revolve around Ryeon trying to spend quality time with Se-Kyung before his time runs out. The two reconciled in the previous episode, but they soon realize that their time in the past is coming to an end. However, they are still unaware of each other’s identities.
In the preview clip, the master tells Eun-Gyeol that his time is running out and he will soon be returning to the present. Realizing that time is of the essence, he decides to spend the most time with Se-Kyung and embarks on a mission to get his parents together. He also tells Cheong-Ah, “When you life will twinkle again on its own, I hope it does so as radiantly as possible, as I don’t have much time left.”
Meanwhile, Yi Chan is still reeling from his conversation with Cheong-Ah in the previous episode. The latter chose not to attend the festival fearing that Se-Kyung will choose Yi Chan. She also tells Yi Chan to stop visiting her as the two are from different worlds. Presumably, Yi Chan realizes his feelings for her and decides to organize a song retreat for the band’s upcoming project. He hopes to work it out with Cheong-Ah during the project.
In the clip, Yi Chan addresses his issues with Eun-Gyeol, while the latter tries to resolve his parents’ misunderstandings. However, Cheong-Ah continues to live her life like before, i.e., without anyone’s help. Viewers will now have to wait and see if she and Yi Chan get together, just like how Eun-Gyeol envisions before he returns to the present.
