What Time Do Apple TV Shows Drop & Come Out?

For those waiting to watch a show, here’s what time Apple TV shows drop and come out. This should help you prepare for new episodes and watch them as soon as they are released on the streaming platform.

When do Apple TV shows drop?

All Apple TV titles follow a similar release time as they come out on Wednesdays or Fridays and drop at 12 AM Midnight Eastern Time.

As per Apple:

“New movies and series are added every Wednesday and Friday, though some shows release all episodes at once. You can watch them on demand anytime, anywhere.”

Regarding the drop timings, Apple TV+ has been highly consistent with releasing episodes at exactly Midnight ET. Hence, you could watch a new movie or a TV series at the following release times according to your time zones:

  • Pacific Standard Time (PST): 9 PM (previous day)
  • Eastern Standard Time (EST): 12 AM
  • British Summer Time (BST): 5 AM

  • Indian Standard Time (IST): 9:30 AM
  • Philippine Standard Time (PHT): 12 PM
  • Brazil Time: 1 PM
  • Australia Central Standard Time (ACST): 2 PM

While most shows launch weekly episodes, some launch entire seasons simultaneously.
