It’s a big day for the cast of Fukrey 3 as made its mark with a noteworthy achievement this week. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the comedy film is the third instalment in the Fukrey franchise and the sequel to Fukrey Returns (2017).
The film is currently experiencing a successful run at the box office and has welcomed itself to 100 crore club. This accomplishment comes as a happy surprise, considering the tough competition it faced from Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.
Fukrey 3 Continues To Impress Audiences With Thrice the Comedy
The third instalment in the Fukrey film franchise sees Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chaddha, Pankaj Tripathi, and Manjot Singh reprising their roles. It follows the events of the previous film, where the Government of Delhi gives Hunny, Choocha, and Lali a store named Janta Store. The three run the store together alongside Pandit, but the store ends up in shambles and the Fukras are getting by doing small jobs.
Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment and Vipul Vig as the writer, the film brought back the crazy Fukra gang on the big screen. Not just in India, but the film has been making waves and receiving love from all across the globe.

Fukrey 3 managed to collect around Rs. 55 crore on its opening weekend at the Net Box Office collection itself, followed by around Rs. 76 crore a few days later. In the homeland, 100 crore feels like a tough achievement, but in the upcoming weeks, there’s hope that the film can reach the 95 crore mark.
Indian film critic Taran Adarsh took it to X (formerly Twitter) to update the audience regarding the film’s constant progress. His recent post read, “#Fukrey3 [Week 2] Fri 2.31 cr, Sat 4.02 cr, Sun 4.11 cr, Mon 1.41 cr. Total: ₹ 77.87 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice.” Meanwhile, fans also expressed their excitement for Fukrey 3 by sharing memes or gifs.
The music is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Sumeet Bellary, and Abhishek Nailwal, while the cinematography is done by Amalendu Chaudhary. The film was released theatrically on September 28, 2023.
