The plot revolves around two women in their 30s and another two women in their early 20s, as they navigate love, life, relationship, desire, and longing in 21st-century Mumbai, India.
Season 1 premiered on January 25, 2019, followed by season 2 on April 17, 2020, and season 3 on October 21, 2022. Four More Shots Please! Season 4 does not have an official release date, but it will likely be announced in the future.
As of early October 2023, Four More Shots Please! has not been renewed for season 4. In April 2023, online publication TellyChakkar asked Ankur Rathee, who portrays Arjun Nair in the first two seasons of the series, whether he would return to the series in season 4 after being absent in the third season.
“There’s always a chance, it’s kind of like a Sex and the City remake,” the actor said in response. “Actually, I won’t say it’s a remake, but it is in that zone. So, often we have seen that the male parts come back in the show. So, it’s possible, but I guess I am not allowed to comment on it.”
At the end of season 3, all four characters get largely conclusive endings to their stories. So, if season 4 does happen, Nandy and her writers will probably need to undo certain aspects of those endings to take the story forward. The intermediate period between seasons 2 and 3 was about two years, so it’s possible that there will be more news about season 4 next year.
