13 Reasons Why Season 5 does not have a release date as it will not be happening. The popular teen-drama mystery series has ended after four seasons.
Moreover, 13 Reasons Why showrunner Brian Yorkey revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he decided to end the series after four seasons as he believed that the graduation of Clay Jensen and the rest of the students at Liberty High was the logical ending point for the show. However, in the same interview, he also mentioned he would have been interested to see how the characters did in college, but also mentioned how he loved to leave that idea to people’s imaginations.
Furthermore, the final two seasons of the series were also met with a negative response from critics. This likely also convinced Netflix to not bring back the series for a fifth season.
