Since the conclusion of the third season, many have been curious about the Starstruck Season 4 release date. Created by Rose Matafeo, who also stars as the lead character, Starstruck is a BBC comedy series that streams on HBO Max in the US. The plot revolves around Jessie, a woman from New Zealand living in London. After having a one-night stand with a random stranger, Jessie discovers that the said stranger is none other than movie star Tom Kapoor, who asks her to stay in London and not return to New Zealand as planned.

Is there a Starstruck Season 4 release date?
Starstruck Season 4 does not have an official release date, but it will likely be announced soon.
As of early October 2023, there isn’t any news about the development of season 4. The networks may be waiting to see how the latest season performs in the US before making the decision. Season 3 premiered on HBO Max on Sept 28, 2023.
In a June 2022 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Matafeo implied that she wanted to follow what Richard Linklater did with the Before film trilogy and conclude Starstruck after Season 3.
“I’m still trying to explore that because I don’t really know. It was so funny seeing the reaction to the first [season], and everyone’s like, ‘What a perfect end, no notes. Never continue the story,’” the writer-actress said. “But we did. I’m such a fan of ‘Before Sunrise,’ the trilogy vibe of that [film series]. It’s always hard to know with TV, as well, when things should stop. For me, it really comes down to whether or not there is a story there to tell.”
Matafeo went on to make the third season and now faces the same questions about season 4. In an Aug. 2023 interview with Digital Spy, she appeared excited when the interviewer suggested season 4 be made in the style of Boyhood, another Linklater film, with a snapshot filmed every year for the upcoming 10 years. “I love that. I’m so down for it. A real-life time jump. I would Linklater it for sure,” Matafeo said.
