There’s a chance the most terrifying thing to happen to public-domain nursery rhymes will no longer be Cocomelon. Uncork’d Entertainment is bringing us some nursery rhyme-based horror movies.
First on the chopping block, we have a Three Blind Mice. A very loose interpretation of that famously grim nursery rhyme where the mice are actually blind mutant killers. The film is helmed by Pierre B, his directorial debut, and stars May Kelly, Lila Lasso, Natasha Tosini, Samantha Cull, and Danielle Ronaldstar.
Three Blind Mice Story and Release Date
The official story description is as follows,
Abi is going cold turkey; her family has taken her to a cabin in the woods so she can be away from the city and all her troubles. However, little do they know, The Three Blind Mice is more than just a fairy tale, and they may be next up on the menu.
Quite the departure then. Hopefully, it won’t turn out like Winnie The Pooh: Blood & Honey where the gimmick ran out of gas fast. Actor May Kelly is coincidentally (or not) in both films.
Three Blind Mice will be released on Digital and DVD on October 17, 2023.
