ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive The Good Mother clip from the upcoming Hilary Swank-led crime thriller movie. The film is set to release in theaters on Friday, September 1.
The clip shows Hilary Swank’s Marissa wake up Olivia Cooke’s Paige, who is on the run from dangerous individuals who want drugs that she has in her possession.
What is The Good Mother about?
“Starring two-time Academy Award-winner Hilary Swank, Olivia Cooke and Jack Reynor, The Good Mother follows journalist Marissa Bennings (Swank) who, after the murder of her estranged son, forms an unlikely alliance with his pregnant girlfriend Paige (Cooke) to track down the killers,” reads the movie’s official description. “Together they confront a world of corruption and drugs in the seedy underbelly of a small city in upstate New York. As they get closer to the truth, they unearth an even darker secret.”
