The Dead by Daylight Alien DLC is officially out now, and developer Behaviour Interactive is celebrating with the release of another trailer detailing the new DLC.
What’s in the Dead by Daylight Alien DLC?
The Dead by Daylight Alien DLC is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The DLC is available for $11.99 and includes a new killer in the form of the Xenomorph, new maps (Control Stations and Nostromo Wreckage), the new Remote Flame Turret weapon, as well as a new Survivor, Ellen Ripley.
The launch trailer for the game showcases bits from the original announcement trailer, including Alien franchise icon Ellen Ripley trying to avoid an Alien. From there, a bit of gameplay is shown off in the form of the Xenomorph Queen, a Xenomorph Clone, and Ripley setting up what looks to be a standalone turret.

What is Dead by Daylight?
Since its launch in 2016, Dead by Daylight has reached over 50 million global players. The game sees a group of players trying to hide and escape from one killer.
While Dead by Daylight is famous for incorporating a wide variety of horror icons into the game — including characters from A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and more — it does have its own lore and ongoing story. The other most recent crossover added iconic actor Nicolas Cage as a survivor and included plenty of dialogue from the man himself.
