Garfield currently has a theatrical release date of May 24, 2024. Thus, fans can expect Garfield to enter streaming platforms a few months later.
There’s a chance Garfield will drop on streaming platforms by July-August 2024. Typically, Sony Pictures releases their films two-three months after their exclusive run in theatres.
Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation) and Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) will lead the cast as Garfield and Vic, Garfield’s father. Nicholas Hoult (Warm Bodies), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Ving Rhames (Mission Impossible), Cecily Strong (The Boss), Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso), Bowen Yang (The Lost City), and Gregg Berger (Monsters University) will play supporting roles in the movie. Garfield will be directed by Mark Dindal, who is known for his work in Chicken Little (2005) and The Little Mermaid (1989).
