The Only Murders in the Building Season 4 release date is predicted to arrive in 2024.
So far, Only Murders has followed a pattern of releasing one season per year. Season 1 ran from August 31 to October 19, 2021. Season 2 released its episodes between June 28, 2022, and August 23, 2022, and season 3 is scheduled between August 8, 2023, and October 3, 2023. So ideally, season 4 should arrive in Fall 2024.
But due to the WGA Writers’ Strike, its production could be delayed. In that case, there is a chance for season 4 to get pushed to 2025. Depending on when it starts filming, Season 4 could either arrive in fall/late 2024, or in 2025.

Only Murders Season 4 renewal status and cast
The series hasn’t been renewed for season 4 yet. But creator John Hoffman told Screen Rant that “everyone involved in it is so happy” and the series will have “a good long life” moving forward. When asked about how many seasons would Hoffman want to return for, he replied:
“As many as they’ll have us for! I really mean it. This is one of those shows [where] everyone involved in it is so happy doing it – and I know I speak for the trio and everyone else. When you have lightning in a bottle in this way, and then there’s this magnetizing force of incredible talent who say, ‘Wow, that looks like fun. I would love to be a part of that.’ I hope it gives it a good long life.”
So, there is a strong chance that season 4 will be renewed and follow the aforementioned release pattern. The cast involved could be Steve Martin as Martin Short as Oliver Putnam, Charles Haden-Savage, and Selena Gomez as Mabel Mora. Along with them, we could see the return of Meryl Streep, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Ryan Broussard, and Michael Cyril Creighton.
