We now know the new Zom 100 Episode 6 release date after a delay was announced. The anime’s official Twitter account revealed the news.
When is Zom 100 episode 6 coming out?
The sixth episode of the hit anime series is getting a one-week delay. This means that the episode is coming out on August 27.
This is a similar delay to the one that the fifth episode suffered. That time they showed a recap, and this time they are going to show the 2023 World Athletics Championships on August 20.
July 30 was when the fourth episode was set to air, and it came out the next day due to production circumstances. So delays have been a running issue with this series so far.
The anime premiered on July 9 in Japan, and Viz Media licensed it across the world. Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Hulu have covered and streamed the series in the United States.
What is the series about?
It’s a manga series that Haro Aso has written and one that Kotaro Takata has drawn. The manga started publication on October 19 and is still going with 14 volumes so far.
The story follows Akira Tendo, a young man in his mid-twenties that is struggling with his life. He doesn’t enjoy his work and doesn’t have meaningful connections, which has led him to a deep depression.
Then, a zombie apocalypse takes place. Akira sees this as a second chance at life and decides to change, leading to him making a list of things he wants to do before dying. This is how the story and Akira’s adventure begin.
The series has received several accolades, including an Eisner Award nomination. It also received a live-action film adaptation that came out on August 3 of this year.
