The November and December 2024 speculated streaming release dates for Beetlejuice 2 is because of the streaming release pattern of Warner Bros.’ theatrical films, which has seen films drop on streaming platforms roughly 30-45 days after their theatrical release.
At the moment, nothing is known about the plot of Beetlejuice 2 except that it will serve as a direct sequel to 1988’s Beetlejuice and see the return of Michael Keaton’s iconic character Betelgeuse aka Beetlejuice.
Aside from Michael Keaton, Beetlejuice 2 will also star Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Jenna Ortega, Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, and Willem Dafoe.
Is Beetlejuice 2 coming out on Max?
Beetlejuice 2 will be available to watch via streaming on Max after its 30-45 day exclusive theatrical run.
The reason for Beetlejuice 2 dropping on Max is that Warner Bros. Pictures, the company that owns the streaming platform, holds the distribution rights to Beetlejuice 2.
Current Max subscribers will be able to watch Beetlejuice 2 when it drops on the streaming platform. A Max subscription allows viewers to stream content produced by Warner Bros. and HBO such as various films based on DC Comics properties and shows such as Love and Death and The Last of Us.
