The film is based on British novelist Damien Lewis’s 2015 book of the same name, and Guy Ritchie is directing it. Ritchie also shares writing credits on the film with Arash Amel, Paul Tamasy, and Eric Johnson. The movie began filming in February 2023 and has already wrapped production.
Upon its announcement, Variety reported that it was targeting a 2024 release. So, judging by the production schedule, it’s likely that the movie will be allotted a release in the second or third quarter of 2024, if not earlier.
