Sega has filed a logo trademark for a product called Sonic & Friends, with the trademark being made public just today.
What does the Sonic & Friends logo look like?
The trademark can be found on the website Chizai-Watch (via Gematsu), though there are currently no details as to whether it is the logo for a console video game, mobile game, or something else entirely. The trademark was filed in Japan on July 18, but has just become publicly known today.

Other recent and forthcoming projects involving Sonic the Hedgehog include the recently released second season of the Netflix animated series Sonic Prime and the upcoming 2D platformer game Sonic Superstars.
Sonic Superstars is set to release this fall for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC and features up to four-player local co-op, with Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, and Amy Rose all being playable. Throughout the game’s levels, you can find the seven Chaos Emeralds to get new abilities like clone creation, climbing waterfalls, and more. Sonic Superstars will even feature Lego-themed DLC that turns Sonic and his nemesis Eggman into Lego minifigs.
