With Ahsoka about to hit Disney Plus, fans also wonder about the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew release date. The series is said to take place in 9 ABY, which is about the same timeline as The Mandalorian’s first season, and a couple of years before the events of Ahsoka. It is about a group of children lost in space and trying to find their way home. But does it have a release date yet? When is it coming out?

Is there a Star Wars: Skeleton Crew release date?
The Star Wars: Skeleton Crew release date is predicted to arrive in December 2023 or early 2024.
The series began production in September 2022 in Los Angeles and wrapped by late January 2023. Actor Jaleel White, who plays a pirate in the upcoming series, claimed that Disney plans to release Skeleton Crew in November or December 2023.
While speaking with Sportsnet in May, he said:
“…Yeah, [Skeleton Crew’s] coming out in November/December, and it’s part of the Star Wars universe.”
Since then, it is believed that Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will arrive later this year. The aforementioned release window is entirely possible. However, with Disney constantly moving its projects to a later date, the Ahsoka series coming out in August, Loki Season 2 in October, and Echo on November 29, it’s highly likely that Disney will take a short break after that. Hence, assuming that Skeleton Crew could arrive in the first quarter of 2024 would be safe.

The series was created by MCU’s Spider-Man trilogy director Jon Watts, and it has at least one episode directed by Everything Everywhere All at Once directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. Jude Law will be the big-name actor leading its cast, and Jaleel White will also play a pirate. But the series will be about four kids in particular, who will be played by Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith, and Ryan Kiera Armstrong.
