Akane wants to tell Eita she likes someone but is too shy to speak so Momo says it for her. Eita says Yamada is a good guy, and being straightforward with him is the way to go. Eita and Momo urge Akane to confess immediately. Akane accepts and rushes to Yamada’s place. She tries to confess, but Yamada is leaving for cram school. He tells her they can talk about it while walking to the station.
However, Akane doesn’t want to confess in public. Yamada tells her he’ll call her after class instead. After class, it starts raining, and Yamada shares his umbrella with Tsubaki. Yamada leaves his umbrella with Tsubaki, but she chases after him and accidentally confesses. Meanwhile, Yamada texts Akane, saying they have to postpone the call. While tutoring Runa, Eita asks about Akane confessing. Yamada thinks Eita’s talking about Tsubaki and says he’s thinking about it. Eita says he should give an answer soon. Yamada visits Akane at work. Akane notices Yamada feeling down. Later, Yamada meets with Tsubaki.
