Nintendo has gradually been adding more Genesis games to its Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack library every few months. And the company just dropped the first few Genesis games of the year by adding Flicky, Kid Chameleon, Pulseman, and Street Fighter II’: Special Champion Edition in April 2023.
All four games are available now, as shown by the trailer below. The first three are different platformers from the era, and Pulseman was developed by Game Freak, the team behind the Pokémon games. Street Fighter II’: Special Champion Edition (the apostrophe is because it is pronounced Street Fighter II Dash in Japan) was also the first update to the popular fighting game and was the first of many. This group also puts the tally up to 41 total Genesis games on the service.
