Skeleton Crew Cast & First-Look Photo Unveiled for Jude Law Star Wars Series

During the recent Star Wars Celebration convention in London, Lucasfilm has finally announced key details to the upcoming Star Wars: Skeleton Crew series, including its main cast and full directorial lineup. More than two months since production had wrapped, it has officially been confirmed that newcomers Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, and Robert Timothy Smith have been cast for the leading roles in the coming-of-age space adventure series.

They will be joining previously announced cast member Oscar nominee Jude Law, who has been revealed to be playing a Jedi on the Disney+ series. In addition to the cast, Lucasfilm has also confirmed the involvement of directors Jon Watts, David Lowery, Jack Schreier, and the Oscar-winning filmmaking duo of the Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert) along with Bryce Dallas Howard and Lee Isaac Chung, who both worked on current season of The Mandalorian.

In addition, the first-look photo of the Skeleton Crew cast has also been revealed, featuring Law with his young co-stars.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is created and executive produced by Jon Watts and scribe Christopher Ford, who previously worked together on Spider-Man: Homecoming. The series will take place during the events after Return of the Jedi. Inspired by the classic Amblin films of the 80s, the project previously had the working title of Grammar Rodeo, which is a nod to a Simpsons episode featuring Bart running away for a week with a stolen car.

The series is also executive produced by Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Kathleen Kennedy. Production on Skeleton Crew wrapped last January.
