A new batch of The Last of Us images from the upcoming fifth episode of HBO’s series adaptation have been released.
The fifth episode of the series, titled “Endure and Survive,” will be released a couple of days early, with HBO announcing the episode will premiere on Friday, February 10, instead of its traditional Sunday release.
The new episode will see the continued journey of Joel and Ellie, as well as their new companions Henry and Sam. According to various teasers from HBO, this episode will include a formidable and new threat to the group as well.

“The Last of Us takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone,” says the logline. “What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal and heartbreaking journey as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.”
The previously released four episodes of The Last of Us are available to stream now on HBO Max or watch on HBO.
