MGM has secured rights to Cop Swap, an original comedy from Hot Tub Time Machine and About Last Night helmer Steve Pink and his writing partner Jeff Morris.
Cop Swap is based on a real life law enforcement exchange program and follows an international assembly of cops who, led by an LAPD officer, wind up going face to face with a major criminal threat.
Pink will direct Cop Swap with Nicky Weinstokc attached to produce. Pink’s next film, Hot Tub Time Machine 2, hits theaters February 20, 2015.
