The Wano Country arc is fully developing as the long-running fight between Luffy and Kaido is at a crucial point. The stakes are higher than ever for Luffy and his crew in the anime based on the manga created by Eiichiro Oda. A single misstep and their mission might go downhill.

When to Watch One Piece Episode 1027

Animation Toei set the One Piece Episode 1027 release date at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on Crunchyroll on Saturday, July 30. The episode was directed by Tatsuya Nagamine and written by Tomohiro Nakayama, while Midori Matsuda and Keita Saito helmed the animation direction.

“Defend Luffy! Zoro and Law’s Sword Technique!” is the 136th installment in One Piece Season 20. Crunchyroll will simulcast the episode with English subtitles an hour and a half after its Japan release at 9:30 a.m. JST on Sunday, July 31. Many details about the next episode are still under wrap, but it appears that it will focus on Zoro. The swordsman is ready to unleash Enma’s devastating power thanks to the Nine Sword Style.

While the Wano Country arc still needs to reach its climax, One Piece fans will have the chance to explore the past of one of the most mysterious characters in the anime, Shanks, in the upcoming One Piece Film: Red. Directed by Goro Taniguchi, the film also involves Oda as an executive producer. The movie premieres in Japan on Aug. 6, 2022.
