Straight from the annual Tokyo Game Show comes a new concept trailer for the upcoming Silent Hills video game from “Metal Gear Solid” creator Hideo Kojima and director Guillermo del Toro, and it takes things up a notch from the previously-released trailer. Check it out below.
“We talked about concepts and tools at his headquarters in Tokyo,” del Toro said at the show (via IGN). “Then he sent his first version of the playable teaser. I saw it loved it. We then… exchanged ideas and the result was the playable teaser you see now… The concepts we’re discussing, the ideas that we’re discussing and the tools that are in play to create Silent Hills are going to render an incredibly intense and an incredibly scary game.”
“The Walking Dead” heartthrob Norman Reedus will star in the upcoming game as the lead character. Silent Hills is expected to be released in 2016 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
