The second season of The Rising of the Shield Hero officially has a release date, and will release on April 6, 2022.

The news came via an update on the anime’s official site, and confirmed the release date of Thursday. The series will broadcast live on the AT-X channel in Japan, with the series also running on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, TV Aichi, and BS11 for those living overseas. Streaming information for the series hasn’t been made available yet, so fans looking to watch along with the new season will have to be a bit patient.
The second season of the hit anime will be directed by Masato Jinbo, who replaces Takao Abo as the showrunner for the new entry.The Rising of the Shield Hero is based on the light novels by Aneko Yusagi and Seira Minami, and saw its first season premiere in 2019, with a 25-episode first season.

But when Naofumi ends up betrayed and belittled from the start, will this cynic even be willing to help?”
