Avengers Game Giving Away Free Spider-Man Skin

The Avengers Game Is Giving Players a Free Spider-Man Skin

Marvel’s Avengers‘ version of Spider-Man only has his classic costume unlocked from the start. Many of the other skins have to be purchased with premium currencies, which can leave frugal players out of luck. However, Crystal Dynamics is now letting players redeem a free Spider-Man skin as long as they find it on the PlayStation Store and are subscribed to PlayStation Plus.

The team is giving away the Black Widow Man Spider-Man costume on both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (just be sure to redeem the right one or grab both just in case). The pack not only comes with the sleek outfit, but also 100 credits and a Spider-Man nameplate. And while not part of this particular promo, there’s also a free name play based on the Disney+ Hawkeye that’s currently up as part of a limited-time promotion.

Players have been trying to figure out how to unlock this Black Widow Man Spider-Man costume in Avengers since he was added to the game in November. Previously, the menu said it was possible to unlock this suit through challenge cards, but that vague description wasn’t helpful. This has led to many threads in places like Reddit asking how to get it.

Crystal Dynamics has had other skin packs for PlayStation Plus players, too, covering all of its other DLC characters like Kate Bishop, Hawkeye, and Black Panther. Crystal Dynamics also isn’t even the only developer that has recently given away free Spider-Man skins as Insomniac Games just patched Spider-Man Remastered to add two suits from No Way Home.
