Tina Fey continues to load on the movie projects following the end of her NBC series “30 Rock” and the latest one being announced is an “Untitled Witch Project” for Walt Disney Pictures in which Fey will star and produce alongside Allison Shearmur (The Hunger Games).
It’s being stressed that this movie is not the rumored sequel to Disney’s 1993 comedy Hocus Pocus, starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy.
The project is in early development at Disney with Tendo Nagendo overseeing the project at the studio.
Before then, Fey will appear in the Shawn Levy dramedy This is Where I Leave You, which Warner Bros. is releasing on September 19, and is reteaming with Amy Poehler for next year’s comedy The Nest.
