Developers Roll7 have announced a brand new biome for the latest entry in the OlliOlli franchise, OlliOlli World, alongside some big news for PlayStation 5 players.

In a post shared on the PlayStation Blog, Simon Bennett — co-CEO of Roll7 — introduced the land of Burntrock, a new biome that is one of the five unique places players will travel in OlliOlli World. Judging by the brief look at it in the blog post, Burntrock seems modeled after a desert town, with mountainous cliffs and various cacti littered throughout the background.
Alongside the reveal of a new biome, Roll7 also announced that on PlayStation 5, players will be able to experience OlliOlli World in 4K and 120 FPS on compatible devices. This will allow players to get the smoothest and best-looking gameplay possible. Towards the end of the blog post, Bennett. also detailed character customization, a brand new feature to the game and one that fans should love.
“You’ll get a bunch of gnarly threads from the start, but as you progress through the game, beat levels, and succeed in challenges, you’ll find even more choices start to unlock,” Bennett said in his post. “So, it’s well worth popping back to customization every now and then to update your look with some of the sweet new loot you’ve secured on your travels!”

OlliOlli World is set to release sometime in 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
