Erin Moriarty, best known for her role as Audrey Hart on HBO’s “True Detective,” has taken the lead role in New Line’s upcoming thriller Crawlspace, Variety reports.
Crawlspace, to be directed by Phil Claydon from a screenplay by Gary Dauberman, follows a family who moves into a new home in the suburbs and soon discovers the house has a very disturbing secret from the past.
Moriarty’s previous big screen roles include The Watch and The Kings of Summer. She can also be seen coming up in Universal Pictures’ Ouija.
Rick Alvarez and Peter Safran are producing Crawlspace with Walter Hamada and Dave Neustadter overseeing at New Line.
