Universal Pictures has landed a package in a seven-figure deal for an untitled stuntman drama with David Leitch (Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Hobbs & Shaw) attached to direct and Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling (La La Land, Half Nelson, Drive) set to star, according to Deadline.

Drew Pearce (Hobbs & Shaw) will write the script. Guymon Casady is producing the project through Entertainment 360, along with Gosling and Leitch and his 87North partner Kelly McCormick.
The project is noted as a “personal” one for Leitch, as one of the rare stuntman and stunt coordinators who transitioned to become an A-list filmmaker along with his John Wick co-director Chad Stahelski. Leitch has reportedly been seeking the right project in the “stuntman action arena.”
Entertainment 360 spearheaded the package, working along with McCormick and Leitch in attaching Pearce to the project, developing the movie, and getting Gosling on board to star before the untitled stuntman drama was taken to the marketplace where it fell into a heated auction that apparently included studios such as Netflix, Paramount, Universal, and MGM.
