Hulu has released the official Monsterland trailer for Hulu’s upcoming eight-part horror anthology series debuting on the streamer on October 2. You can check out the trailer now in the player below (via Bloody Disgusting)!

Based on the short stories from Nathan Ballingrud’s North American Lake Monsters, the series is a horror anthology which will follow the story of broken people driven to desperate acts in an attempt to repair their lives and will feature encounters with mermaids, fallen angels, and a variety of other mythical creatures and horrors.
Monsterland will feature Golden Globe nominee Kaitlyn Dever (Booksmart, Unbelievable), Taylor Schilling (Orange Is the New Black), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Kelly Marie Tran (Star Wars franchise, Sorry for Your Loss), and Jonathan Tucker (Westworld).

The 8-episode series is created, written and executive produced by Mary Laws (Preacher). It is a production by Annapurna TV with Ali Krug, Lucan Toh (Under the Shadow), Megan Ellison, and Sue Naegle serving as executive producers.
