Sony and Microsoft have both announced the slate of July 2020 free games that will be available to subscribing PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.
PlayStation Plus members will receive two titles, NBA 2K20, featuring its immersive open-world Neighborhood and upgraded motion engine, and Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration where Lara uncovers an ancient mystery that places her in the crosshairs of a ruthless organization known as Trinity. Additionally, members will be able to download the feature-length experience Erica, as part of PlayStation Plus’s 10-year anniversary. The titles will be available to download from July 7 until August 3.
Members still have time to down June’s PS Plus games, Star Wars Battlefront II and Call of Duty: WWII, until Monday, July 6. You can subscribe to PlayStation Plus via this link.
Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will receive four free games — two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 — as part of the Games with Gold Program. On Xbox One, starting July 1, Xbox Live Gold members can download WRC 8 FIA World Rally Championship until July 31. Then on July 16, play two-on-two basketball in powered-up pickup games in Dunk Lords, available until August 15.
On Xbox 360 and Xbox One via Backward Compatibility, help the 3rd Street Saints take back their city in Saints Row 2, available from July 1 to July 15. The platformer Juju will be available to download from July 16 to July 31. You can subscribe to Xbox Live Gold via this link.
