Superman: Man of Tomorrow: Darren Criss leads voice cast in new DC animated film
Ahead of Justice League Dark: Apokolips War’s upcoming digital release this May, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has revealed the star-studded voice cast of their newest DC animated film titled Superman: Man of Tomorrow with Golden Globe winner Darren Criss (American Crime Story) set to lend his voice to the Man of Steel. The movie is expected to debut on digital, 4K Ultra and Blu-ray sometime this summer.
Criss is no stranger to the DC Universe as he previously guest-starred in The CW’s Supergirl and The Flash and has starred in last year’s DC-Nickelodeon crossover animated film Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

According to EW, Superman: Man of Tomorrow will follow Clark Kent working as an intern for the for the Daily Planet and learning on the job how to save the city of Metropolis. Joining Criss are Zachary Quinto (American Horror Story) and Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas) for the roles of Lex Luthor and Lois Lane, respectively.
The film will also see the appearance of DC villains Lobo and Parasite/ Rudy Jones which will be voiced by Ryan Hurst (Sons of AnarchyThe Walking Dead) and Brett Dalton (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), respectively. In addition, the cast will also include Ike Amadi as Martian Manhunter, Neil Flynn as Jonathan Kent, and Bellamy Young as Martha Kent.

Superman: Man of Tomorrow is directed by Chris Palmer from a script written by Tim Sheridan (Death of Superman). Justice League and Batman Beyond‘s Butch Lukic is also set as supervising producer. The film is based on the DC comic book series of the same name by Roger Stern, Louise Simonson, J.M. DeMatteis, and Mark Schultz which ran for 16 issues from 1995-1999.
