One-Punch Man follows the story of Saitama, a superhero who can defeat any opponent with a single punch but seeks to find a worthy opponent after growing bored by a lack of challenges in his fight against evil.

The worldwide hit manga series was created in 2009 by Japanese artist ONE as a webcomic. In 2012, the comic was published on Shueisha’s Young Jump Next, illustrated by Yusuke Murata along with ONE. Worldwide sales for the series hit over 30 million copies. The English edition was published by VIZ Media in the U.S. in 2015, with the first and second volumes earning a spot on the New York Times manga bestsellers list. The comics were also nominated for an Eisner and a Harvey Award.

One-Punch Man has previously been adapted into an anime TV series and a video and mobile game.
