Elaine Hendrix and More Set to Star in The Country Club

According to Deadline, Elaine Hendrix has signed on to star in The Country Club alongside James Urbaniak (American Splendor), Akono Dixon (Dolemite is My Name), John Higgins, Fiona Robert (Younger) and Sophia Robert (Poor Little Rich Kids).

The film follows Fanny Kowalski, a wealthy mother who attempts to keep up appearances at her country club after her husband flees the country on tax evasion.

First-time director Fiona will steer the ship from a screenplay she wrote with Sophia.

Hendrix is best known for her role in the 1998 remake The Parent Trap, starring Lindsay Lohan, Dennis Quaid and Natasha Richardson; and FX’s Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll series.
