Pictures has debuted a new banner for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and also confirmed that new trailer for the film will come online tomorrow (Tuesday, October 1st) at 7 a.m. Pacific / 9 a.m. Eastern. The second part of Peter Jackson’s new trilogy, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor. It hits theaters December 13.
