Common is in negotiations to join Liam Neeson, Joel Kinnaman and Ed Harris in Warner Bros. action movie Run All Night, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Jaume Collet-Serra will direct the film, in which Liam Neeson plays a mob hitman who is forced to take on his former boss (Harris) in a single night. He has to protect his son (Kinnaman) and family, and winds up on the run from the mob and the authorities with his estranged son.
Common will play Harris’ most trusted killer, a cool and calculated man who lets nothing get in his way.
Roy Lee is producing the film with Brooklyn Weaver. John Middleton is executive producing. Brad Inglesby wrote the script.
