The DC’s Legends of Tomorrow writers took to Twitter to share the first behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the upcoming fifth season as filming officially begins for The CW series. Season 5 is expected to premiere sometime next year. Featuring some of the returning cast members including Brandon Routh (Superman Returns), Nick Zano (What I Like About You) and Caity Lotz (Mad Men), you can check out the full photo below.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The ATOM, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Nick Zano as Dr. Nate Heywood/Steel, Jes Macallan as Ava Sharpe, Courtney Ford as Nora Darhk, Matt Ryan as John Constantine, Ramona Young as Mona Yu, Tala Ashe as Zari Tomaz, and Olivia Swann as Astra Logue.
Phil Klemmer and Keto Shimizu will be the fifth season’s showrunners.

Based on the characters from DC, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Phil Klemmer and Sarah Schechter.
