According to Deadline, Game of Thrones alum Maisie Williams has signed on for the leading role in Sky Original’s forthcoming six-part comedy series titled Two Weeks To Live which is scheduled to begin filming later this year.
“Looking forward to getting into something new, I think Two Weeks To Live has really great potential and I want to make something incredible with this wonderful team!” Williams said.
Sky’s Director of Comedy, Jon Mountague added, “With Maisie Williams leading from the front, Two Weeks To Live is to die for. Bold, British and very, very original, we can’t wait to wow audiences with even more great comedy”.

Two Weeks To Live follows the story of young misfit named Kim Noakes (Williams), who lives a secluded country life. When an unlikely prank goes wrong, she finds herself on the run from a murderous gangster and the police with a massive bag of stolen cash. With the survival techniques she has picked up from her upbringing, however, she might just get through.
The series is written by Gaby Hull with Kudos, the studio behind The Tunnel and Humans, to produce. It was commissioned by Zai Bennett, Managing Director Content, Sky and Jon Mountague along with Josh Cole as the commissioning editor.

Two Week to Live will be executive produced by Kudos’ Phil Temple. Endemol Shine International will handle its distribution and it is expected to air on Sky One and in the streaming service Now TV.
