Aviron Pictures has released the official trailer for their upcoming romantic drama adaptation After, based off Anna Todd’s Wattpad Harry Styles fan fiction series of the same name. Starring newcomers Josephine Langford and Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, the film is scheduled to be release in theaters on April 12. Check out the video below!

After will follow the story of Tessa Young (Josephine Langford), a dedicated student, dutiful daughter and loyal girlfriend to her high school sweetheart, as she enters her first semester in college. Armed with grand ambitions for her future, her guarded world opens up when she meets the dark and mysterious Hardin Scott (Hero Fiennes Tiffin), a magnetic, brooding rebel who makes her question all she thought she knew about herself and what she wants out of life.
The film also stars Peter Gallagher (The O.C.) as Ken Scott, Jennifer Beals (The L Word) as Karen Scott, Selma Blair (Cruel Intentions) as Carol Young, Shane Paul McGhie as Landon Gibson, Samuel Larsen as Zed Evans, Khadijha Red Thunder as Steph Jones, Swen Temmel as Jace, Inanna Sarkis as Molly Samuels, Meadow Williams as Professor Soto, Dylan Arnold as Noah Porter and Pia Mia as Tristan.

After is directed by Jenny Cage, who also co-written the film’s screenplay along with Susan McMartin and Tamara Chestna. It is produced by Jennifer Gibgot, Anna Todd and Mark Canton.
The novel series was first published on the popular writing platform Wattpad as a Harry Styles fan fiction in 2013. Later on, Todd signed a publishing deal with Simon & Schuster which became one of New York Times bestselling books.
