After six seasons, Last Man Standing starring Tim Allen has been canceled by ABC
Last Man Standing has been canceled by ABC, according to TVLine. The show ran for six seasons, totaling 130 episodes on the network, and wrapped its final season in March. Jay Leno guest-starred on the finale. Tim Allen (Home Improvement) starred as Mike Baxter, a conservative sporting-goods executive and father of three daughters played by Amanda Fuller, Molly Ephraim and Kaitlyn Dever. Nancy Travis played his wife Vanessa. His liberal son-in-law Ryan was played by Jordan Masterson.
Allen was the star of Home Improvement, which ran on ABC from 1991-1999 and starred in the The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2, and The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. He’s also voiced the role of Buzz Lightyear in all three Toy Story films and will return for the fourth installment on June 21, 2019.
Last Man Standing also stars Christoph Sanders as Kyle Anderson, Flynn Morrison as Boyd Baxter, Jonathan Adams as Chuck Larabee and Hector Elizondo as Ed Alzate.
