Demi Moore Joins Empire in Recurring Role

FOX just announced via press release that Demi Moore (Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle) will join their oft-nominated show Empire in a recurring role. Moore’s character will premiere in the Season 3 finale. She will be playing, “a take-charge nurse with a mysterious past, who will become ever more treacherously entangled with the Lyon family in Season 4.” Moore is the latest cast member announced for the season. Previous guest stars for Empire include Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Taye Diggs (Private Practice), Phylicia Rashad (The Cosby Show), Nia Long (Are We There Yet?) and Rumer Willis (Sorority Row), who is Moore’s daughter.

Empire will return on Wednesday, March 22 to FOX. The episode description states, “The battle between Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) explodes into their biggest war yet. After launching a deadly missile at Angelo (Diggs), Lucious announces his new music project, Inferno, and puts everyone on notice – especially Cookie, who then vows to knock him off his throne for good. The two engage in an epic clash – fueled by a history of love, loyalty and betrayal.”

Moore will next be seen in the Lucia Aniello comedy Rock That Body with Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon and Zoë Kravitz, which will premiere June 16, 2017. She also has a role in the independent film Blind opposite Alec Baldwin.

Empire is the No. 1 broadcast drama in adults 18-49 and ranks as the No. 1 broadcast entertainment program among in adults 18-34, women 18-34 and teens. The show was created by Academy Award nominee Lee Daniels (The ButlerPrecious), Emmy Award-winner Danny Strong (Game Change) and Academy and Emmy Award-winning producer Brian Grazer (A Beautiful Mind). Are you guys watching the show?
