Unsane trailer and poster teases Soderbergh’s iPhone-shot thriller

Fingerprint Releasing & Bleecker Street have released the first trailer and poster for the upcoming film Unsane, the new film from director Steven Soderbergh, who shot the entire film on his iPhone instead of using traditional cameras. Check out the Unsane trailer and poster below and look for the film in theaters on March 23.

In Unsane, a young woman is involuntarily committed to a mental institution where she is confronted by her greatest fear–but is it real or is it a product of her delusion?

Unsane stars Golden Globe winner Claire Foy (The Crown, the upcoming The Girl in the Spider’s Web), Joshua Leonard (The Blair Witch Project, Scorpion), Jay Pharoah (Ride Along, Saturday Night Live), Juno Temple (Killer Joe, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For), Aimee Mullins (Stranger Things), and Amy Irving (Traffic, Carrie).

The movie marks the 25th feature film by director Steven Soderbergh, whose other credits include the likes of the Ocean’s Eleven trilogy, Sex, Lies, and Videotape, Erin Brockovich, Contagion, Haywire, Magic Mike, and last year’s Logan Lucky.
