Lionsgate‘s Summit Entertainment and Codeblack Films new movie Blindspotting is expanding its release this weekend into theaters nationwide starting tomorrow! Ahead of the film’s debut in theaters around the country, we have an exclusive gallery of photos from the film which you can check out below! Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal wrote and star in the hip-hop-flavored buddy comedy, set in a rapidly gentrifying Oakland, California. The film tells the story of Collin (Diggs), who needs to make it through his last three days of probation for a chance at a new start, but his fast-talking childhood bestie, Miles (Casal), is a magnet for trouble. When Collin’s final countdown is interrupted by a life-changing missed curfew, their friendship is forced out of its comfortable existence and onto a spiraling collision course as they navigate their way through the rapidly-gentrifying neighborhood they grew up in.

The film stars Daveed Diggs (Wonder, Zootopia, The Get Down), Rafael Casal (The Away Team, Ricochet in Reverse) and Janina Gavankar (True Blood, Star Wars: Battlefront II). Longtime friends and collaborators, Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal co-wrote and star in this timely and wildly entertaining story about friendship and the intersection of race and class set against the backdrop of Oakland.  Bursting with energy, style, and humor, and infused with the spirit of rap, hip hop, and spoken word, Blindspotting, boldly directed by Carlos López Estrada in his feature film debut, is a provocative hometown love letter that glistens with humanity.

Blindspotting is now playing in select theaters and will expand on July 27.
